Central Logan 100 Day Challenge
As part of the Central Logan 100 Day Challenge, 8 community-developed projects are being launched.
Each project is focused on one shared goal:
Increasing safe and trusted connections for Central Logan’s parents, carers and caregivers.
These projects were co-designed by community members and shaped in collaboration with services, government, council, businesses and funders. Together, we’re seeing what’s possible when many partners come together around one important priority.

100 Days, 100 Ways
Each day, for 100 days we’ll share help available across Logan through many different ways.
The goal? More services and supports visible and accessible to people in Logan

Play your way around the world
Parents and young children (0–5) meet regularly to share culture through play. Each week features a different country’s games, stories or food, often led by one of the participant families, creating a sense of belonging and pride in cultural backgrounds.

UNLOCKED
We want to unlock flexible, no-cost venues that community members can book to run whatever they’d like, from knitting circles and cooking lessons to youth poetry nights or cultural storytelling sessions.
This is about handing the keys back to community.

The BIG Picture
This is a community art project on safe andtrusted connections.
Kids can use any medium they like: painting, drawing, collage, poem, song, mixed media, digital art, even sculpture or photography. Whatdoes trust look like? What does belonging feellike? What makes you feel safe? Who or whathelps you feel connected?
All their creations will come together in acolourful, public exhibition, a collective artworkmade of many voices.

The BIG Picture: Grown Ups Edition
Grown-Ups Edition - This companion project invites the parents, carers, grandparents and caregivers of Central Logan to step into the creative space and share their vision of connection.
Through art, we ask:
What does safe and trusted connection look like to you?
Who or what helps you feel strong, held, and part of something bigger?
What does it mean to be a parent or carer raising children in community?
Every piece will join the children’s artworks in a vibrant, shared exhibition, a cross-generational celebration of what connection really looks and feels like in Logan. Families will gather to see what their children, and each other, have created.
